Bedford Locksmith & Security is a locksmith, intercom and security company based on Greene Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. We have been on Google Maps since 2019, answering lockouts and rekeys at all hours and installing the intercoms, keypads and security systems that decide who gets into a building.

Our work is the housing central Brooklyn actually has: divided brownstones, walk-ups, and storefronts along Fulton, Nostrand and Bedford. We work from Greene Avenue out to Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Bushwick and the neighborhoods around them.

How we operate

Price before work

You get a clear price on site and nothing starts until you agree to it. If the job turns out different once we open it up, we stop and talk first.

Diagnose, then quote

A dead buzzer or a stuck door usually has one failing part. We find it before suggesting a replacement system.

Repair before replace

Older hardware often has years left in it. We replace what has failed, and tell you plainly when a full replacement is the better value.

No promises we can't keep

We do not quote arrival times we cannot hold. You hear an honest estimate when you call.
